Maker Break is the umbrella name we use for a group of small, specialized businesses with shared ownership through Maker Break Holdings LLC. Each one does something different — home services, consulting, recycling/repurposing, automotive projects, etc. — but they share the same mindset: fix what’s broken, make it work better, and keep it honest.
You might see different versions of the name (Maker Break Pro, Maker Break Consulting, etc.). That’s intentional. Each version focuses on one service area and is operated as its own LLC for clarity, insurance, tax, and customer expectations.
In plain English: Maker Break is the “family name.” The sub-brands are the actual service businesses.

Why are there multiple brands?
Clarity: A homeowner looking for help installing lights does not want to read about corporate sourcing strategy. Separate sites keep things clean and relevant.
Compliance + insurance: Different work types fall under different rules and coverage. We keep them structured separately on purpose.
Focus: Each brand stays small, specialized, and personal instead of trying to be everything to everyone.
Are these all part of the same company?
They are related, and in some cases share ownership, tools, or back-office systems — but they do not all operate as one big company. Each service brand operates (or will operate) as its own LLC with its own EIN, bookkeeping, and scope of work.
If you hire Maker Break Pro for a home project, you’re not secretly hiring a consulting firm. If you hire Maker Break Consulting, you’re not getting a handyman.
